Most CDs in North America are printed using the silkscreen method. Silkscreen printing is best for laying down large areas of strong vibrant colors. It really isn't well suited for printing pictures. Offset print is much better at printing pictures, and Amtech can now offer this service at a price comparable to silkscreen printing.

The offset print CDs may require an day or two to produce, depending on the order backlog, but the print quality is worth it for photo-discs. We can also print CD-Rs and shaped CDs using the offset print method.
